- Johnny Vera, a transgender student, is crowned prom queen at Roosevelt High School in Fresno, California. Only five years earlier, another California high school student was murdered at a house party because she was transgender. (via Metafilter)
- The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Canada is using the Nintendo Wii to treat patients who suffer from movement and balance issues. It's the first hospital in North America to use the video game system for brain rehabilitation therapy. (via Kotaku)
- R&B singer Cassie posts a new song, "Sometimes," on her MySpace page. (via Whudahexup!)
- MySpace refuses to turn over the names of registered sex offenders who use the site to attorneys general from eight states. MySpace's chief security officer stated that the authorities failed to follow a "proper legal process."
