Immigrant children are less physically active than U.S.-born kids, according to a study published in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. The study concludes that immigrant children often concentrate on reading and language lessons and have less time for exercise as well as less access to play areas.

Yeah that sounds about right.
Maybe it's cause they feel like they'll be behind and they want to better themselves and as for kids who are US born are more distracted and less interested in school and more in running around everywhere.
