Yasmin Deliz left home at sixteen for Cali to pursue her music career. By that time, she was already a world traveler, having been born in Caracas, Venezuela and growing up in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Yasmin spoke only Spanish until fourth grade. Early on, she listened to Gloria Estefan, Selena, and José José. When she went into entertainment, her parents were both supportive, although each gave her a warning. Her mother insisted that Yasmin finish school and her father cautioned against getting knocked up. She listened and has her rap record deal.
Yasmin’s been independent for years and wants the same for her girls. “You don’t need a man. It’s a Latina thing. You don’t need no man. Us women are just as powerful. We can make our own decisions and make our own money.”

i just wanted to let you know im a huge fan you are so beautiful everytime i see my jaw drops i have to keep up with mun2 through the internet the hospital i am in doesnt have mun2 i am in the hospital because i have pancreatic cancer which sucks big time because i dont get to watch ur shows .. your amazing u always make me laugh u and renato are the best god bless and thank u for taking my mind off of my cancer while im watching ur show
