For Mexican-born, Los Angeles-based designer Sami Hayek, the process of creating a product is just as important, if not more so, than the end result. Young design student Fu Paullada’s concept of “go green or go home” is put to the test when he spends the day at the Sami Hayek Studio.

Hola, mi gente and to mun2!!! well first of all i would love to be hook up to be a model or background dancer because its been my passion since i was small i have an awesome personality and i consider myself to be a hardworking girl. The thing is that mun2 should come to the valley to hook up people with real talent..here in the valley the economy is real down so i dont have a chance to travel up state for casting calls but it would really be an opportunity for me to help my sister which is attending college in Mexico so my mom has been the one sending her money for her books and all her stuff in the other hand my dad which lives with my sister is dissabel because they had to cut of his toes cuz his blood wouln't circulate so my mom has been working hard all her life togive us the best she can but now i want to help her out and what a better way then to work for what i love doing.... so please hook me up with my dreams i'll do what it takes for this to come true and i wont never let you guys down and you wont regret giving me this opportunity to better my life and others...
