Underground rap comes up and surfaces on the streets of the West Village in NYC today. Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn-born-and-raised rapper Papoose is in the building. The man inspired by legends like Rakim, Kool G. Rap and Big Daddy Kane explains his name – it means “Indian baby” – and what’s up with his new LP, The Nacirema Dream ("American" spelled backwards).
